Whispers of the Forgotten" is a tribute to all the untold stories and hidden narratives of the Wars of 1965 and 1971 waged between Pakistan and India.
Air Commodore (Retd.) S. Sajad Haider actively participated in both. During the 1965 war, As Dawn broke on the 6th of September, he led Squadron 19 in the defense of Lahore.
Rava Documentary Films is honored to have had Air Commodore Haider join us for our documentary series ‘Jhaur - War of 1971’, filmed in 2021. During this shoot, we engaged in an exclusive conversation with him about the buried tales of the Wars that led to the emergence of Bangladesh. We further explored the 1965 War, the Political events surrounding the 1971 elections, and how Pakistan can progress as a nation in today’s world.
