In her new memoir "Counting the Cost," the former "Counting On" star got candid about her harrowing experience welcoming son Samuel in 2017 via emergency C-section. Jill writes that she had a uterine rupture and lost half of her total blood volume, but was able to get a transfusion. Samuel was taken to the NICU for nine days, and while a scan showed signs of bleeding on his brain, a neurologist later told the family there was no lasting damage.
