SKATERS RESURFACE DIY PARK // BILOXI MISSISSIPPI

Описание: The Gulf Coast Skateparks Association, in collaboration with Biloxi Main Street, renovated the Biloxi DIY skatepark. Thanks to our sponsors and incredible volunteers we were able to install and renovate over $3000 worth of improvements for the local skateboarding community.

In this video, I share my journey with the Gulf Coast Skatepark Association as we renovate our beloved skatepark. We focus on upgrading ramps and surfaces, featuring Gator Skin—a premium skateboarding material generously provided by our sponsors: the Greater PXY Economic Development Foundation, Yaya Skate Shop, Gidry Flooring, and Islander Outfitters.

One standout project involves transforming a simple Manny pad into a creative table with sloped ramps (hips) for skaters of all levels. We even repurposed wood salvaged from a half-pipe in New Orleans, adding a unique touch to our builds. The video captures the energy of our volunteers, detailed design sketches, and the passion driving this community effort.

After showcasing the smooth, high-quality Gator Skin surfaces during a solo skate session, I highlight how these renovations elevate the experience for all skaters.
