An American Airlines Boeing 737-823 registration N970AN, performing flight AAL1552 from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (KDFW) to Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (KCOS) during climb out of Dallas-Fort Worth declared MAYDAY, reported right engine failure and requested return to the airport of departure.
