Cyclone Threat Looms Over Bay of Bengal
The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert for a potential cyclonic storm "Senyar" over the Bay of Bengal next week. A low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 22, intensifying into a depression over the central south Bay by November 24, 2025.Heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast for Andaman & Nicobar Islands on November 21-22 and 23-24, with heavy rains likely over Tamil Nadu (21-26), Kerala & Mahe (21-23), and Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema on November 26.Meanwhile, cold wave conditions are expected to persist in isolated pockets of West Madhya Pradesh on November 21-22. Authorities advise residents in affected areas to stay vigilant
