Making a piano sketch each day for a week has helped me prioritize spending time composing again, and regain some confidence that if I sit at the piano and experiment a bit without judgment, ideas will flow. West Wind uses La Monte Young's Well-Tuned Piano tuning system again. I let it be almost entirely left hand alone this time.
Not trying to please the algorithm, not aiming for perfection, just composing because it feels like what I need to do to heal.
Recorded using Pianoteq NY Steinway in just intonation on an Athena NK5.5-301 Narrow-key keyboard.
