JIM ED started playing guitar for Square Dances whilst still at school
and singing on local Radio with MAXINE.
The first break came when he entered a talent contest in Little Rock.
He didn't win but he got invited to became a regular
on Radio Station KLRA's Barnyard Frolic Programme.
MAXINE joined JIM on the show and in 1954
They were signed to the Louisiana Hayride
in the Studios of which they made their First Recording
"Looking Back To See".
BONNIE Joined in 1955 after Graduating from High School
[1st. Recording Session 1st. August 1955].
JIM ED, MAXINE & BONNIE were active from 1955 to 1967
and occasionally in the 80's.
In 2006 they performed "The Old Lamplighter" & "The Three Bells"
for the PBS Special "Country Pop Legends".
JIM ED Recorded SOLO from 1965 to 1976
and DUETS w/Helen Cornelius from 1976 to 1981
JIM ED Performed until 2015.
MAXINE Recorded SOLO 1968 and 1969
