Disability insurance companies do not respect Crohn's Disease as a disabling condition, and it is often humiliating for those who suffer with it, if it is also causing urgency or incontinence issues.

Disability insurance companies will also look at the records and determine that, because a claimant is on medications or may have had surgery, that they should be able to work. However, we understand that this is not always the case with Crohn's Disease.
