Fake police officer now in custody. The family now says the man, named as Joshua Waiganjo was in fact promoted to the rank of deputy ppo by the then police commissioner, Matthew Iteere. It also emerged that Waiganjo worked closely, and may have been friends with rift valley PPO John Mbijiwe. And today junior officers who worked under Waiganjo have been recounting what they describe as the man's reign of terror and fear.
