69Express, Kansas’ first express lanes and the largest project in KDOT history, included reconstruction of U.S. 69 in Overland Park. The project included widening the highway with added express lanes – one northbound and one southbound between 103rd and 151st Streets – and interchange improvements at U.S. 69/167th Street and five other interchanges. The design-build project was a partnership between KDOT, the Kansas Turnpike Authority and the City of Overland Park. Learn more at 69Express.org.
