In all seriousness, the level curve is steep in this DLC. You're given the EXP charm easily for a reason, because these fights go from "ha ha why does she have a Poochyena at that high a level to" "Oh god why" super fast.

Carmine had already shown herself to be a capable combatant when she fought alongside you as a better Arven against Titans. It's no surprise, then, to see she can fight.
