Enjoy the spectacular Christmas Lights Displays of the Lower Mainland’s largest free outdoor winter lights displays at Lafarge Lake in Town Centre Park Coquitlam BC.
Produced by the City of Coquitlam, Lights at Lafarge feature a 1.6-km pathway filled with dazzling lights and re-imagined displays, glittering in over 100,000 lights. Separated by 10 zones, you’ll walk through the winter lights entry gate. The Lights at Lafarge drew in over 200,000 spectators every year, and is continuing to be a fan favourite this year with plenty of free events! Each year the park seems adding more lights as well as attracting more spectators / visitors.
The City of Coquitlam turns Lafarge Lake into a magical, dazzling displays of lights every winter. As you wander around the waters edge you are treated to varying light installations. Look for the flowers made out of recyclables, the chandelier that dazzles from above, the whimsical creatures poking out from amongst the trees.
Other winter holiday-themed events happening this time of year include the Festival of Lights at VanDusen Gardens, Canyon Lights on the North Shore at Capilano Bridge, and Langley Glow in Langley, but all these events are PAID for admission fees.
