Tools you'll need:
Pencil
Tape measure
Laser level
Retractable knife
Wide taping knife
Plastic spatula
Scissors
Protective cutting strip
Clean water and cloth
Wallpaper adhesive paste with a brush and roller

1. Decide your starting point – plumb a line for the first drop or draw a feint vertical guide line. Measure the length of the first drop, adding enough excess top and bottom to allow for trimming. Cut and number the drops required.

2. Paste the wall – ensure generous and even coverage, paying attention to the edges, top, and bottom.

3. Hang the first drop – press it onto the pasted wall along the top. Align the edge to the vertical guide line, smooth downwards with a plastic spatula to remove air bubbles, and trim top and bottom.

4. Hang the second drop – paste the area, overlap the first drop by approximately 20mm to match the pattern, and secure as before.

5. Cut the overlap – use a very sharp blade with a metal edge as a guide, ensuring the cutting blade is always sharp.

6. Form the perfect join – pull away the strips, flap back the edges, re-paste, press edges back, trim top and bottom, and wipe any paste off with a damp cloth.
