4 = blow on hole number 4
(4) = draw (breathe in) on hole number 4
(3)' = draw (breathe in) on hole number 3, and bend down 1/2 step
(2)" = draw (breathe in) on hole number 2, and bend down a full step
(34) = draw (breathe in) on holes numbered 3 and 4 at the same time
34 = blow on holes numbered 3 and 4 at the same time
(123) = draw on holes numbered 1 + 2 + 3 at the same time
123 = blow on holes numbered 1 + 2 + 3 at the same time
36 = play octave, or blow on holes numbered 3 + 6 only (at the same time)
(14) = play octave, or draw on holes numbered 1 + 4 only (at the same time)
(2)=(3) means to trill, or to rapidly alternate or shake between hole numbers 2 + 3
br = bend and release
sus = sustain, or play long note

►INFORMATION ABOUT ME

‣I am a New York City musician and music teacher.

‣I teach people of all ages (it is never too late to learn), and all abilities (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). I play and teach all styles of diatonic and chromatic harmonica: specializing in Irish melodies and Chicago Blues technique.
‣I have musically mentored many kids. I have vast experience teaching children age 5 and older.

‣Some of my favorite blues harp players are: Little Walter, William Clarke, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Paul Butterfield, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, John Popper, and Bob Dylan. We can study the blues licks and the harmonica styles of any of these great artists.
