Friday night at Ashton Gate and it’s one Bristol City fans will want to forget. From the first whistle Derby County were a step ahead in every department and punished us ruthlessly on the night.
City never really got going and as the goals went in, the frustration and disbelief in the stands said it all. Credit where it’s due though, Derby were excellent and played with intensity and fully deserved the result.
Football has a habit of humbling you, and this was one of those nights.
