Difficulty level is 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 for this one. I broke down out here in Hawaii yesterday and was not able to allow the boat that was telling me to go over six miles per our or jeopardize my motor being flooded with salt water. Besides fixing my electrical failure this was my first and utmost priority!
lucky for me I was only toad about 1/2 Mile however I had just made my way in from 7 miles offshore to the West right before I broke down dead in the water.
in my opinion, Yamaha is basically negligent for not including something like this automatically in the design when they know very well your motor will be flooded without shutting off this hose but hey.... We keep buying them right?
