If your OLS-35 (Optical Light Source) has a fixed connector adapter, this video will walk you through the process to convert to a quick change adapter. The quick change allows more flexibility and for us, and allows us to standardize connectors across all of our platforms which allows us to use test cords from OTDR to Light Source without having to hunting down a mating patch cord to go from one connector form factor to another.
VanTek has a kit available if you would like to do the conversion, or if you prefer you can send us the unit and we can provide the service.
