The young students learned about the dangers that sea turtles face in the ocean. Through a hands-on activity, they discovered how plastic and trash can harm sea turtles. The children saw pictures and talked about how turtles can get stuck in plastic bags or eat trash by mistake.
The students took part in a creative and experiential activity. They made a sea turtle using recycled materials and pretended to clean the ocean. This helped them understand the problem in a simple and meaningful way.
They felt happy to help and learned that their actions can protect sea animals.
