How to fix power boot jammed/ Toyota Vellfire/Alphard?
What happen when its jammed? There will be irritating continuos alarm, that we are unable to turn it off. And your boot cannot be open or closed as usual, you have to close it manually and the alarm still ringing. This usually happen when we installed OEM power boot, not many car mechanics know how to fix it. This happen when the boot is not closed properly when our bonet is overloaded, and the boot left unlocked for awhile. To fix it you need to open the back cover of the boot and unplug power of the power boot module for about ten minutes. Then, plug the power back on. Usually the alarm will stop. At this point of time, you are still unable to open it normally. What you need to do is to reset the computer box. If you don't have a car computer other alternative is to disconnect the battery for about ten to fifteen minutes. However, this is not recommended as it may disturb other system.
