Orkidea is one of Trance scene's original innovators, his Dj sets are legendary for their programming and his productions remain at the forefront of the Pure Trance movement. 'Pacifique' is taken from his '20' career spanning opus & here we present a selection of Finnish sourced remixes in advance of the forthcoming '20 Remixed' edition.

Tapio Hakanen's Original Mix is all spiralling retro analogue arpeggios & pulsing mid tempo baseline, the evocative "As we sleep the earth revolves" vocal lays the groundwork for an instantly memorable lead synth line. With the addition of gentle pads, this is a proper eyes closed heads-down 128bpm deep Pure Trance record. Beetseekers keep things warm and emotional with their synth stabbing acidic baseline vocoded 130bpm progressive trance remix, saving the hook for the drop, and building some slick orchestral pads post-break. Antti Rasi takes the track down a very welcome 128bpm dubby tech house mix, interesting & quirky sounds are scattered throughout & Antti retains the Original hook and arpeggios, but it is the fabulous 303 sub bass which gives this mix it's edge. Chantola's version is a widescreen deep & spacious deep trance mix, building smoothly at a sedate 124bpm it is perfect late night material.
