Television journalist Boudewijn, a father of two, is a well-known face as a reporter for the Flemish commercial television network.She became a woman at the age of 58 and took the name Bo van Spilbeeck.
"We actually always both wanted the same: to remain a close family and loving family. So we’ve said that we have no other choice than to make a success of it. I get a great deal of support from my wife who I still love, as much as ever and from my children, and their partners.
Van Spilbeeck's Children's also supported her. Her Son Nicolas says he looks forward to the day when his daddy's gender doesn't matter anymore.
“When will all this stop being an issue, just normal life?, a lot will change after your transition, but at the same time everything will remain the same.”
