Description
Andy Fraser formed the band TOBY after leaving Free in May 1971. Formed with Adrian Fisher (Guitar) and Stan Speake (Drums) this song Travelling Man was released on some of the early German Free Story vinyl releases. It also appeared on another German Free compilation called Pop Chronik on Island Records. It may have been intended also for the UK Free Story release but Andy may well have prevented the UK release. Toby did lay down more tracks but it seems only Travelling Man made it to official release. I really like this version and you can see Andy plays some very nice bass lines in typical Fraser style.
