Treble Bleed Mod: Duncan vs. Kinman [PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW]

This is how I chose a treble bleed mod for my American Deluxe Stratocaster. Note that the pickups in the Strat are Klein S-5's in a pickguard from the folks at 920D. The amp is a Carvin MTS 3212, which has high headroom.

The key takeaway from this is that everyone's guitar is going to sound different. If you are going to do a treble bleed circuit, don't just buy the $45 tone save from Fender. Don't just have 920D put one in your new pickguard. Get the parts and experiment and do it yourself. Because the circuit will work differently based on your playing style, preference, pickups, pedals, etc., it is important to experiment and get what works for your situation. I hope the resistor and capacitor values here can give you a starting point.
