Jägala Falls (Jägala juga) is the widest natural waterfall in Estonia, located about 30 kilometers east of Tallinn. With a width of up to 50 meters and a drop of around 8 meters, it has been an important landmark for centuries. Historically, the surrounding area was used for mills and industry, and the river has played a role in local settlement since at least the Middle Ages. Today, Jägala Falls is protected as a natural monument and remains one of Estonia’s most iconic landscapes.
