Using up the floury apples for apple butter bbq is a great way to make sure they're eaten, one of my favourite sauces!

My recipe is based around https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/cann... - with alterations for taste. (as in this recipe would have used 30 cups of sugar to my 40 cups of apple butter :O, I used 5!)

I did however, find a bunch of new recipes have popped up since I last made this when I was googling to find the one I had used before, so you might find something else you want to try, but I stuck with our old favourite, because we know we like it especially in this quantity :)
