Welcome back to another scene.
On today's walk i will take you to the wintery, scenic coastline of Helsinki in the Gulf of Finland.
It's a cold and windy gray morning with a temperature of -6°c, the wind will be more noticeable once we get to the beach.
"Vuosaari" is the name of this district in Helsinki, Finland.
It roughly means "Flow island" and is so called because in the 16th century it was an island separated from the mainland by a long strait.
However, over time, the strait witnessed a tectonic uplift, resulting in dry land, turning the former island into a peninsula.
The Swedish name of the district is "Nordsjö", referring to a "Northern sea".
