Aqua is a relatively underutilized monster type, and one that has far less support when compared to more popular monster types like Warriors, Dragons and Spellcasters. Yet despite this, Aqua type monsters have had major impacts on the metagame across the entirety of Yu-Gi-Oh, including the current format where Tearlaments are a huge part of the meta.
