Liberal Senator Dave Sharma says Australians are entitled to expect high standards of behaviour from elected representatives as Senator Lidia Thorpe is censured over her protest against King Charles.
“She is someone who has abused the trust of the Australians who put her there,” Mr Sharma said.
“All of us elected representatives should be mindful we are discharging a duty on behalf of the Australian people.”
