I believe this might be the first album from #TheHappyGoodmans. It was released first, as were some of their other records, on #SimsRecords 113, an independent label that started in LA and moved to Nashville. #FaborRobison, who had seen success with #JimReeves, gave a financial grant to #RussellSims to start the label in the 50's. It was after his move to Nashville in the early 60's that the Goodmans were added. A few years later #CanaanRecords reissued this on their own label. This particular track, #6, was written by legendary gospel songster, and Missouri native, #JackCampbell. If you enjoy what's on my channel, why not take a moment to like and subscribe?
