Manipur Violence | SC Transfers CBI Cases To Assam; Asks Gauhati HC CJ To Designate Judges

Описание: On the 25th of August, Supreme Court has issued directions transferring the cases of sexual violence that occurred in the State of Manipur to a designated court in Assam to be tried by a sessions judge or a Chief Judicial Magistrate. The order comes in as a new batch of directions after the court assigned certain cases to the CBI and formed 42 SITs to deal with the cases of ongoing violence in Manipur. The court has also made available provisions to ensure trail procedure can be completed online and through local magistrates for the victims and witnesses. We bring you the full story in this video.
