Amuda (37), a native of Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, was found in a vulnerable condition at the Mangaluru Central Railway Station and was safely rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre.

Following information received from the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the Snehalaya team responded promptly, ensuring her safety, medical care, and continuous supervision. Detailed psycho-social and medical assessments are underway, along with efforts to trace her family and explore the possibility of reunion.

Under the compassionate leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya continues its mission of restoring dignity, safety, and hope to individuals in distress through holistic rehabilitation and care.
