Faith in Action: Transformation in the Tenges Community

In this update, we share the powerful story of transformation happening in the Tenges community in Baringo County, Kenya.

Three years ago, community leaders invited ELI to help address the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. What began as awareness has grown into deep, holistic transformation. Today, men and women are pursuing God-honoring livelihoods, joining churches, and sharing hope with neighboring villages and schools.

In this video, you’ll hear directly from Dennis, a member of our Kenya team, as he shares how lives are being restored and how families are turning their houses into Homes of Hope—places of training, discipleship, and care where transformation continues to multiply.

As we reflect on this work, we are reminded of Acts 5:39:
“If it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

This is what we are witnessing—a movement sustained by God and strengthened through faithful partnership.
