We all get distracted.
In Luke 10:38-42 we read the story of Jesus coming to the home of Mary and Martha for a great time of fellowship and social interaction. Mary was eager to talk with Jesus and immediately began conversation with Him.
But Martha got distracted.
After all, Martha was a planner and hostess. She liked to serve people by providing the best drink, food, dishes, tableware... and she was shocked that Mary was so inconsiderate.
Martha appealed to Jesus, thinking He would take her side.
But instead Jesus did the unexpected, which ironically is expected - he told Martha she made the wrong choice. Mary chose time with Him... and that is always the BETTER CHOICE.
