Mass Wedding of 51 Disabled Couples | Udaipur | Narayan Seva Sansthan

Описание: Divyang Vivah was successfully conducted by Narayan Seva Sansthan on 7th and 8th Sep 2019, which was a mass wedding ceremony for the differently-abled and economically-challenged. A total of 51 couples were wedded in this 33rd edition of the mass wedding, which is organized by the Sansthan twice every year, since 2000.

The ceremony started on 7th with Mehendi, including other programs. On the 8th the mass wedding started with the entry of the grooms on mares, and performing torans, along with the dancing baratis. Then, the couples garlanded each other on the hydraulic stage. Some of the couples had the bride differently-abled, some the grooms, while others both. After this, several performances to entertain the guests, and artificial limbs to 51 differently-abled were distributed, who visited the wedding from different parts of the country.
52 vedis were decorated to complete the different rituals, including Pani Grahan and pheras. The parents of the bride, as well as the dharma Mata-pita (donor parents), did the ritual of kanyadan. Soon, the brides were taken to the solid, and then no one was able to hold their tears as vidai approached.
