Hey Queen moms, again I must say congratulations and all the best for your pregnancy and birth. In this video I seek to outline the process of your 1st day at a public antenatal clinic. Even though health centers( clinics) might have different steps to the process these are the basics and usually spread across parishes. To add to what was said in the video . 🤗
1.You might also be given a referral to attend High Risk Clinic, when the Midwife does her interview and examination if there is deviation from the norm the Midwife should give a referral. High risk clinics are sometimes located on the same compound of your "regular clinic" , sometimes however it may be at a different location.
2. It is also important to remember the first day of your last menstrual period this your Midwife will need to calculate your expected date of delivery.
