Описание: Let’s begin with talking about a part line. Everyone has them, and with humans we are able to change ours to our mood or outfit. With Barbie it’s decided during the designing stages. Barbie, unless fashioned into a ponytail, will always have a predetermined permanent hairline. And to make that hair line you will need a thatch. Thatching is a lot like weaving, but easier. If your dolls need help in that department, fear no more, I’ll show you how to put them back into place. As children playing with Barbie we were encouraged to play with her hair! In the 90s Barbie’s thatch is almost never lost, due to how she was rooted and the change in hair material. In the 80s the Barbie standard was almost always saran. The late 80s and all the 90s her hair was mostly kanekalon. A fiber very light in weight, less plasticky, and easy to manipulate into styles. Because of how weighted saran is, and how much more durable it is, it’s easier to brush that thatch right out, especially if you’re a young child. Plus most of the 80s Barbie’s with hair play features came with a fine tooth brush and fine tooth comb. Which were just perfect for brushing out hair, especially a thatch.
