PEACE - TOTAL WAR MAKES NO SENSE "JFK" ... (Studio Session - Multilayer Guitar System & Drums)

It´s as simple as that!

This little music project started on a peaceful Sunday afternoon. I took my guitar, put the video camera in front of it and just noodled around for 15 minutes. I recorded the clean guitar-track and looped the signal through a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 20 and a Hughes & Kettner Ampman modern. I also recorded the virtual tracks with the good old Roland VG-99 and the Roland GR-55.

All other effects were recorded directly on individual tracks. So with a single guitar signal I had many layered sounds that were later mixed together. Everything you hear here (all guitar sounds and the bass) was recorded at once (!!!)

Then I played the drums. The problem here was that I had no idea what I had played before. I call this “random composition music.” So I had to nail the individual parts of the drums onto the guitar by ear.

Afterwards I left the project aside for two weeks to think about what I could do with this music.

By some coincidence, some algorithm showed me some speeches by John F. Kennedy. (Thanks for that!) That was brilliant. So I took some excerpts from these speeches and inserted them into the music.

Since I'm not a fan of quick junk productions, I once again took more time than I actually needed to give the project a video that it deserved.

So here we are now. So that more people on this planet make more music and therefore don't have time to take part in wars. Is it that simple or not?
