Описание: Members of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation share their stories of culture, tradition, governance and stewardship in their own words. The Coquitlam Watershed is the ancestral territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm people with archaeological findings confirming continuous occupation for at least 10,000 years. kʷikʷəƛ̓əm translates to “Red Fish Up the River” referring to the sockeye salmon run that once flourished in the Coquitlam River and Coquitlam Lake.
