In reality, prompt engineering is deeply connected to problem-solving, system design, experimentation, understanding model behavior, and often working alongside product, engineering, and AI teams.

That said — learning prompt engineering is still incredibly valuable.

AI tools aren’t going anywhere. The ability to communicate clearly with models, structure instructions effectively, evaluate outputs critically, and integrate AI into workflows is becoming a core skill across industries. It may not be a golden ticket to instant wealth, but it is a powerful long-term advantage.
