At the Zico All-Star Game in Río de Janeiro's Maracaná stadium, what were not missing for the fans were goals. The game, which took place at 20:30 Wednesday night, featured many of Brazil's current and former stars. The match was a 7 to 4 victory for the red team over the white.
The crowd erupted in cheers as the main patron of the event and member of the red team, Zico, executed a flawless feint against a player more than 30 years his junior. They were on their feet again when Romário, for the white team, received a cross-goal pass and executed a perfect header into the opposing team's net.
The All-Star Game has become a staple in Brazil´s football season, where sports legends and active players join up to raise money for charity. Many of the active players now play abroad, but came back to Brazil to participate in this star-studded humanitarian event.
