Member of Parliament and leader of the National Coloured Congress, Fadiel Adams, has made his feelings about the South African Police Service very clear to the Ad Hoc Committee looking into concerns around nationsl security. Appearing before the committee yesterday, Adams said he has no trust in the SAPS.
In his July 6 press conference, while making a raft of allegations about criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system, KZN Police Commissioner Lt General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi accused Adams of being in illegal possession of classified documents. Mkhwanazi also alleged that Adams had compromised the work of the Political Killings Task Team.
