Kenya is targeting to secure funding for extension of the Standard Gauge Railway from Naivasha to the Malaba border, through Narok, Bomet, Kericho, Nyamira and Kisumu. The project is expected to open up Western Kenya for investments, enhance passenger and cargo transport.
