The 13th U.S. President, Millard Fillmore, is buried less than 20 miles south of Niagara Falls, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Cemetery in Buffalo, New York.
Fillmore is one of nine U.S. Presidents who only became President because the incumbunt died in office or resigned from office. The other eight accidental Presidents include: John Tyler, Andrew Jackson, Chester Arthur, Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Harry S. Truman, Lyndon Johnson and Gerald Ford.
