Storyline :
Joltungi (জলটুঙি) is a heart-touching NTV Bangla Telefilm brings to the screen a story of how subtle social prejudices can fracture a family and how understanding and empathy can begin to repair that damage. Joltungi is based on the story of Jaya, a dark-skinned, outspoken, and confident woman.

বর্ণবৈষম্যের দেয়াল ভাঙার গল্পে হৃদয়স্পর্শী এনটিভি বাংলা টেলিছবি 'জলটুঙি'। শ্যামবর্ণ, স্পষ্টবাদী ও আত্মবিশ্বাসী এক নারী জয়ার গল্প নিয়ে নির্মিত হয়েছে এই টেলিছবি।

জয়া ও স্বামী আসিফ ও মেয়ে টুসিকে নিয়ে তার সংসার ভালোই চলছিল। কিন্তু আসিফের বন্ধুবান্ধব ও আত্মীয়দের কটূক্তি সেই শান্ত জীবনে ফাটল ধরায়। তারা জয়ার গায়ের রং নিয়ে হাসি ঠাট্টা করতেন। ধীরে ধীরে বিষয়টি আসিফের মনে প্রভাব ফেলে; নিজের অজান্তেই তিনি দূরে সরে যেতে থাকেন জয়ার কাছ থেকে। সে দূরত্ব শেষ পর্যন্ত আলাদা করে দেয় জয়া–আসিফকে। আর এই বিচ্ছেদে সবচেয়ে বেশি বঞ্চিত হয় তাদের মেয়ে টুসি।
