It's the 1st July 2017 and Dave Galloway and myself appear to be the only ones left on the planet as we complete a 7 mile round taking in Chapter 8, School Knott and Chapter 9, Brant Fell. We are alone to view the splendour of this excellent walk utilizing the very pleasant Dales Way to join these two wonderful extracts from Alfred Wainwright's guide.
