The walk started at Broxbourne Station passing along the River Lea, through Dobb's Weir to the confluence with the River Stort at Hoddesdon. Then picking up the River Stort Navigation and following its course through Roydon, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth ending at Bishop's Stortford.
