I built a DIY power tool battery power box that runs a 12V DC diesel heater using DeWalt, Harbor Freight Bauer, and or Milwaukee-style 20V tool batteries — no power station required.

Using a Harbor Freight plastic ammo box, fuse-protected battery adapters, and a DC-to-DC step-down converter, this setup delivers safe, regulated 12-volt power for camping, hot tenting, ice fishing, off-grid heat, and emergency use.
