Preparing dry fibers on a hand shaped xps core. Rocker was already bended and freezed with CFRP UD strings.
First step is to apply GF reinforcement patches around the inserts. After that you can start with the reinforcement of The Foil Boaxes. We use 1 layer of +-45 300g/m2 and 1 layer 0/90 300g/m2 with some overlapping.
After that you start with the first layer on the bottom. 300g/m2. After wrapping around the Fibres on the deck, you apply one layer 300g/m2 on the deck.
After that repeat step 2 and step3.
We usually use spraying glue for fixing the dry fibers on the core and from one layer to the other.
After the fiber application, you can go on with peel ply and an perforated foil.
After that, you can start with STEP3 - the build of the core process, infusion strategy and vacuum bagging
