Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions asking if I see autistic children at my office.
Yes, I absolutely do. And it’s very important to me to take a multifaceted approach to supporting these children.
Therapy for autistic children must be approached from multiple angles. It’s not just ABA, or just primitive reflex integration, or just laser therapy, or just diet. It’s a combination of specific therapies that the individual child’s body needs.
That’s why it’s important not to put autistic children into a box. Each child is unique and requires unique care. There’s many pieces to the autism puzzle, and adequate care requires addressing each of these puzzle pieces if you want to make meaningful progress.
