There are a total of 14 treasure maps in Tomb Raider. These maps will unlock all of the relic, gps and document locations on your world map. You will be able to set waypoints for every collectible. That makes it incredibly easy to find everything and once you have the treasure maps, no further help will be required to find all the Relics, Documents and GPS Caches.
Buying the "Cartography" (Tier III survival) skill will automatically unlock all treasure map locations on your in-game world map. Some of the treasure maps are a reward for completing optional tombs.
